Actividades de ocio en Chiclana de la Frontera 2022
En un lugar de Andalucía…adentrándonos en la provincia de Cádiz, nos encontramos con Chiclana de la Frontera, uno de los destinos turísticos más destacados de la provincia de Cádiz. Y es que, sin visitarla, nunca se podría entender la esencia de esta ciudad; la cual viene a raíz del potencial que tiene en su gastronomía, su ocio, sus paisajes y, sobre todo, su gente.
En cuanto a la gastronomía, nada sustituye a las famosas tapas chiclaneras, y es que, si algo es imprescindible al venir a Chiclana, es degustar sus increíbles platos. De estos podríamos destacar el “pescaito frito”, las “tortillitas de camarones” o unos buenos chicharrones de Chiclana. Esta delicia podemos disfrutarla en los mejores restaurantes y chiringuitos de Chiclana acompañados de las mejores vistas; vistas marcadas por nuestras maravillosas playas con sus increíbles atardeceres, vistas que a los chiclaneros nos gusta acompañar de buenas tapas, cerveza fría y grandes risas.
Volvamos a sus playas, la joya de la corona. Chiclana cuenta con las mejores playas a nivel nacional.
En necesario mencionar la famosa playa de La Barrosa, con sus 8 kilómetros de extensión desde el acantilado que la separa de la playa de Sancti Petri hasta la Loma del Puerco; esta está compuesta por fina y clara arena, frágil oleaje y diferentes premios por su buena gestión medioambiental.
Chiclana también cuenta con la playa de Sancti Petri, famosa por su entorno natural, al encontrarse en el parque natural Bahía de Cádiz, y por las diferentes actividades que se pueden realizar allí. Entre ellas, los diferentes deportes acuáticos que se ofertan por la zona; entre los cuales destacan actividades familiares o para disfrutar con amigos como pueden ser rutas en kayak hasta Castillo de Sancti Petri (fortaleza en ruinas, actualmente restaurada), alquiler de Paddle Surf y La Banana.
Desde hace algunos años contamos con uno de los festivales más famosos de España, el Concert Music Festival; este reúne a gente de toda España en nuestro increíble Poblado de Sancti Petri, nombre que deriva de San Pedro, patrón de los pescadores, ya que era un antiguo pueblo pesquero.
Ocio en Chiclana: Concert Music Festival
Este festival ha conseguido que el turismo en Chiclana de la Frontera aumente a grandes escalas y el reconocimiento de esta ciudad haya pasado a ser exageradamente mayor que antes de su existencia.
En Chiclana no solo nos juntamos en el Concert Music Festival, es más, aprovechamos la mínima para poder reunirnos y disfrutar de nuestra gente. Entre las diferentes festividades con las que cuenta esta ciudad podemos mencionar:
Feria de San Antonio. Esta coincide con el 13 de junio y es el evento más importante de la ciudad, ya que reúne a chiclaneros y visitantes para hacer de estos días unos días para disfrutar de unas buenas sevillanas y del arte andaluz junto a familiares y amigos.
Quema de Juan y Juan. Esta da lugar el 23 de junio de cada año y reúne en diferentes restaurantes a toda la ciudad para disfrutar de la quema de los muñecos representativos de la fiesta a partir de las 12 de la noche.
Romería de la Virgen del Carmen Atunera. Se celebra el 16 de julio, es la fiesta de la patrona de los marineros de Chiclana. Este día se lleva la Virgen del Carmen de la Capilla de Pino al puerto de Sancti Petri y allí sale en un barco al mar mientras numerosos barcos la acompañan recorriendo un trayecto que parte desde el Caño de Sancti Petri y finaliza en la Playa La Barrosa.
Santa Ana. Esta se celebra el 26 de julio en los alrededores de la ermita Santa Ana de Chiclana, donde se reúnen los habitantes chiclaneros para dar lugar a fuegos artificiales, fiesta nocturna y el típico dulce “Campanas de Santa Ana”.

Todos los Santos (“Tosantos”). Esta da lugar el 1 de noviembre, en los mercados se adornan los puestos para obtener un ambiente tradicional con conejos, pescados o pollos. Se degustan los dulces típicos como los famosos “huesos de santos”.
